Give Kids A Smile

Join members of the Omaha District Dental Society as we extend the Give Kids A Smile program throughout the year.

Through our efforts at the Douglas County Dental Clinic, we have increased the capacity of the clinic significantly.

If you are interested in volunteering one day, a half day or even a few hours, your skills will be well utilized.

Simply contact the DCDC at (402) 444-7348 and ask for Ronnett. Tell her what kind of patients and procedures you prefer to do (kids, adults, geriatric, oral surgery or general dentistry) and when you can volunteer ... they will take it from there!

ODDS volunteer dentists, as well as area hygienists, assistants and dental assisting students, provide comprehensive services for children ages 3 to 18.

This may include x-rays, cleaning, fluoride, dental sealants, restorations, extractions, chrome crowns and root canals.

Give Kids A Smile was designed to provide education and preventive care to children who do not have access to regular dentist care.

The clinic opens at 8 am and closes at 3 pm. The Dental Clinic is in the Douglas County Health Center located at 4102 Woolworth Avenue. Use the south entrance.

We anticipate a busy day, so please call ahead to avoid disappointment.

The number to call is 444-7348.
